- 3 cloves garlic diced
- ¼ cup tomato paste
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- ½ cup full-fat coconut milk
- 1 tablespoon red pepper flakes
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 tablespoon vegan butter

- 200 g pasta
- 2 l water reserve ¼ cup pasta water after cooking
To garnish (optional)

- Add the coconut milk and red pepper flakes. Keep stirring till combined.
- Season with salt and ground black pepper, and stir to combine.
- Add the cooked pasta, pasta water, and butter. Stir till pasta is fully coated with sauce and butter is melted. Add more reserved pasta water to achieve the desired saucy consistency.
- Garnish with fresh basil and a sprinkling of nutritional yeast. Enjoy!
